About Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City metropolitan area has a population of over one million people and includes many shops, museums and parks. As the state capital, Oklahoma City provides a variety of educational, social and cultural opportunities. The climate in Oklahoma City varies with temperatures ranging from 10º F in the winter to around 100º F in the summer. Wind is prevalent throughout the year, with light to moderate snow occurring in the winter months.

About Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City is an ideal campus for international students. The diverse student body, small class sizes and affordability provide international students with an exceptional college experience. OSU-OKC does not provide student housing; however, there are several affordable housing options close to the campus. Conveniently located in the Oklahoma City metro area, the OSU-OKC campus is near many bus stops, stores, restaurants and a major international airport. OSU-OKC is also nationally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The campus provides:

  • tutorial programs in many subject areas
  • academic counseling and career services
  • computer labs
  • free Microsoft Software
  • personalized instruction (average class size: 19 students)
  • more than 25 student clubs and organizations
  • culturally-diverse student activities
  • flexible course schedules (day, night, weekend and online classes)

Degrees

The associate in applied science degree (A.A.S.) signifies the completion of at least 60 hours of collegiate course work, preparing the graduate to begin a specific career. OSU-OKC offers 31 associate in applied science degrees in several areas.

Associate of science degrees (A.S.) are designed for easy transferability into four-year college and university programs. OSU-OKC offers seven associate of science degree programs.

The bachelor of technology degree (B.T.) is a 124 credit hour technology-intensive, application-focused degree. OSUOKC currently offers one bachelor of technology degree.
