Biography

 Wayne Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University with a major in Mathematics and Physics. He was an active member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at TCU.

Upon graduation, he was employed by a major oil company, and started his employment as a Field Engineer in West Texas. His 20 year progression with the company involved technical assignments, middle management assignments, and a top level management position. He left the company as Division Manager of The Mid-Continent Division to take a position as President of an oil well drilling firm with offices in Denver, Colorado.

After nine years with this company, he retired from this position and returned to Edmond, Oklahoma where he attended The University of Central Oklahoma to obtain his Teacher Certification. He began teaching at OSU-Oklahoma City as an Adjunct Faculty member in 1993, and was employed full-time by the school as a Math Specialist for The Learning Center. He is currently a member of the Math Faculty, and the Administrator of the Math-on-Computer program, which involves both Internet and Lab classes. Also, he is the Lead Instructor for Prealgebra and Introductory Algebra. He teaches all levels of Developmental Math.
