OSU-Oklahoma City, in cooperation with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) is proud to offer two high-quality certification programs. SHRM educational products are developed according to the highest quality standards. HR professionals and subject matter experts review each product to ensure accurate, real-life applications. SHRM’s Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program is a solid, introductory-level course in human resource management. The Professional in HR Certification Review Program is designed for managers and staff with experience in general management or human resource management and uses the SHRM Learning System. Both courses will expand the HR professional’s knowledge, skills, and abilities to deal with crucial issues facing the HR profession.

 

3000 SHRM ESSENTIALS OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

This two-day course provides a broad overview of the human resource function. SHRM’s Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program is designed for entry-level HR professionals, those exploring HR as a career field, and supervisors who have HR responsibilities. It is also appropriate for HR professionals, such as staffing specialists, whose experience has been in a single functional area. Key topic areas include: introduction to human resource management, employment law, staffing, compensation, human resource development and performance management.

3001 SHRM PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCE CERTIFICATION REVIEW PROGRAM

The SHRM Learning System™ Course provides you with an overview of key areas in human resource management. Materials include six modules that correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and associated knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The program is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by HRCI. The National Society for Human Resource Management will award 3.5 continuing education units (CEUs) upon completion of the course.
