Veterans

The OSU-OKC Talent Search program provides Military Veterans with the essential tools needed to re-enter school at a post-secondary level. The focus of the program is to provide supportive services and create a centralized environment that removes any unnecessary barriers for student veterans.

 

Educational Talent Search provides these personalized services to veterans:

 
  • Admissions (help with completion and submission of applications)
  • Transcripts (aid in securing them, if required)
  • Programs/Degrees (counseling in the choices and requirements)
  • Campus Tours (individualized for veterans’ interests)
  • COMPASS testing (information and help with the testing process)
  • FAFSA (aid with completion and submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Financial Aid (information and help with scholarship applications and required documentation)
  • Veterans’ Advocacy (help with individuals’ issues, from admission application through enrollment)
 

To qualify for the program, veterans must meet the following criteria:

  • Veterans must be of limited income

    OR
 
  • Veterans must potentially be among the first generation of their families to graduate from a four-year college.
 

* Two-thirds of all Talent Search participants must be of limited-income and potentially be among the first generation of their families to graduate from a four-year college.
