TRIO - Providing Hope and OpportunityThanking for visiting the OSU-Oklahoma City Educational Talent Search S*T*A*R*S program website!

The Educational Talent Search program is one of the oldest TRIO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Sponsored locally by OSU-Oklahoma City, the Educational Talent Search program is housed in the Division of Student Services.

The purpose of Talent Search is to identify and assists qualified youth with the potential for education at the postsecondary level. The early intervention program is designed to serve young people in grades 6 through 12.

The Talent Search program is a college access program that encourages youth to complete school and enroll in a program of postsecondary education in a college of their choice. The program also actively encourages individuals who have not completed education programs at the secondary or postsecondary level, but who have the ability to do so, to reenter these programs. The program also publicizes the availability of student financial assistance for individuals who seek to pursue postsecondary.
