Tuition Waivers

Each year OSU-Oklahoma City awards tuition waivers based on academic excellence. Our tuition waiver programs are extensive and we offer competitive awards for full-time as well as part-time students. OSU-Oklahoma City’ Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will begin accepting tuition waiver & scholarship applications from December 15 - March 1st of each year. Additional tuition waiver opportunities are available through each Academic Division; however applicants are not allowed to stack waivers. Recipient will only be allowed one waiver source for the school year.

 

Applicants applying for tuition waivers must make application via the scholarship portal no later than March 1st of each year. All applicants must be admitted to Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City by the scholarship deadline to receive tuition waiver and scholarship consideration. Applicants will be notified by regular mail of any awards. Awards will be offered on a first come, first served basis in the following awarding priority:

 
  1. First-time Freshman - awards will be based on the cumulative grade point average from an official 7 or 8 semester transcript, (whichever is available), ACT scores, or GED documentation. You will be required to upload copies of your transcript or ACT scores for scholarship consideration.
     
  2. College Transfer Students - awards will be based on the cumulative graduation/retention grade point average from all previous official college transcripts. You will be required to upload copies of your transcript history from each previously attended institution.
     
  3. Current OSU-Oklahoma City Students – students enrolled at OSU-Oklahoma City during the 2016-2017 academic year will receive consideration for tuition waivers and scholarships based on the cumulative graduation/retention grade point average as determined by the OSU-Oklahoma City Registrar's Office.
 

Foundation Scholarships

OSU-Oklahoma City has a variety of scholarships available through the OSU Foundation. OSU-OKC Foundation Scholarships are available in the majority of the university’s academic divisions as well as other areas of interest. OSU-Oklahoma City will make Foundation scholarship award offers on the following priority basis:

 
  1. Current OSU-Oklahoma City students – students enrolled at OSU-Oklahoma City during the 2016-2017 academic year will receive consideration for foundation scholarships based students meeting criteria for the award. Criteria may be based on degree program, demonstrated financial need, GPA, etc...
     
  2. First-time freshman - awards will be based on the cumulative GPA from the final high school transcript, degree program, and demonstrated financial need. Final high school transcript will need to be on file with the Admission Office before consideration is finalized.
     
  3. College Transfer students - awards will be based on the cumulative graduation/retention grade point average from all previous official college transcripts. You will be required to upload copies of your transcript history from each previously attended institution.
