Media Relations Image and Publications Public Relations Requests Staff Information
Media Relations OSU-Oklahoma City offers a variety of excellent programs taught by outstanding individuals. In an effort to project our excellence in a concise manner, faculty and staff should contact the Office of Public Relations to discuss media opportunities. It is the policy of OSU-Oklahoma City that only the President and the Director of Public Relations, or those authorized by the President or Director of Public Relations, are designated to dispense press releases, contact the media or answer media inquiries. Also, should media representatives make an unscheduled stop on campus, the Office of Public Relations should be contacted immediately. Occasionally, the media may contact the Office of Public Relations for a representative to participate in an interview regarding a particular area of expertise. In most of these situations, a representative from the Office of Public Relations will also attend the interview to provide support as needed and will provide any preliminary information in preparation for the interview. Image and Publications It is important to remember that often the first impression prospective students, community leaders and alumni receive is through OSU-Oklahoma City publications. Whether it is a class schedule, calendar, fax, e-mail, advertisement or our Web site, it is vital we send one clear and concise message. Any item that is produced with the OSU-Oklahoma City official name and / or logo must be approved by the Office of Public Relations. This includes but is not limited to: press releases, mass mailings, brochures, newsletters, promotional items, apparel, web sites, and advertisements. How do I make a Public Relations Request?
