Linda S. Barren, R.N.C, M.S.

Division Head Health Services

Linda Barren is Division Head of Health Services at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City. She has held this position since 2004. Prior to accepting the position of Division Head, Linda was Associate Division Head at OSU-Oklahoma City for 4 years. Programs in Health Services include an associate degree nursing program and echocardiography and vascular sonography programs. Linda has over twenty one years of nursing experience which includes, critical care, post anesthesia recovery, medical-surgical nursing and high-risk labor and delivery.  Linda has16 years of teaching experience in the OSU-Oklahoma City nursing program. Linda holds a certification in Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing. Linda earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from OSU-Oklahoma City, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Oklahoma.
