The Division of Human Services offers a wide range
of degree and certificate programs designed to meet the needs of students interested
in a career in chemical abuse counseling, crime victim/survivor services, early
care education, fire and municipal fire protection services, emergency medical services,
interpreter training or law enforcement. The curriculum in each of the programs
provides a general education background as well as career preparatory courses and
continuing education workshops.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, "Employment
of human services workers is expected to grow much faster than the average for all
occupations through the year 2005. Positions for qualified applicants are expected
to be excellent..." Take a few moments and explore the educational and training
opportunities offered in the division.
