OSU-OKC Welcomes Season with Annual Fall Harvest Celebration
OSU-Oklahoma City’s Farmers’ Market will celebrate autumn with its third annual Fall Harvest Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. The public is invited to attend the FREE celebration at the OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market, 400 N. Portland Ave.
Join us for free horse-drawn carriage rides, live music by Dustin Cooper and, of course, the Farmers’ Market. Shoppers can enjoy 100% Oklahoma-grown products including fresh produce, pumpkins, squash, fall plants such as pansies and kale, baked goods, dairy products, meats, and arts and crafts. Attendants can also enter drawings for great prizes.
“The OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market Fall Harvest Celebration will be loads of fun for everyone,” said Cheryl Camp, OSU-OKC Farmers’ Market manager. “This year, we are giving all attendants a free, reusable Farmers’ Market tote so they can pick up some of the freshest produce the state has to offer.”
OSU-OKC horticulture and veterinary technology specialists will be conducting free workshops, which include Organic Gardening, Poisonous Plants & Dangerous Decorations, and First Aid for Pets. In addition, there will be a live broadcast of KTOK’s “Home Improvement Show” and “The Garden Show.”
