Hispanic Student Services, located on the first floor of the Student Center, is
a program designed around the idea of community and student success. Resources,
support services in Spanish and English are available. Hispanic Student Association
activities are coordinated through this office.

for students and their families.

Joaquin Ruiz considers himself 100% Okie, despite being born in San Juan, Texas.
He and his Monterrey, Mexico-native parents moved to Oklahoma when he was only 3
years old and he considers himself to have experienced a very balanced, cultured
upbringing. Since then, he has acquired more than 20 years of entrepreneurship experience
with community service in education and has been with OSU-Oklahoma City since 2005.
He says it has been a pleasure assisting many families with their desire to pursue
higher education. As the OSU-OKC Hispanic Student Association advisor, he is proud
of the organization’s numerous awards for various achievements, but none will
be greater than when he sees our students become future professionals and leaders!

Hispanos, esta localizado en el Centro de Estudiantes, es un programa diseñado alrededor
de la idea de éxito estudiantil y comunitario del Estudiante. Recursos disponibles:

de Estudiantes Hispanos son coordinadas a través de esta oficina. Ayuda con el proceso
