Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City believes that no qualified student should be denied the right to pursue the post-secondary degree of his/her choice because of the lack of financial resources. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships operates to provide students of OSU-OKC a means of financing their educational goals. We are committed to total compliance with federal and state regulation, University policies and office procedures. Realizing that financial aid is a vital part of most students’ education, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of service as it relates to information, timeliness, and accuracy.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING
SPRING BOOKSTORE CHARGES
Student financial aid applicants who have been awarded can begin charging books at the bookstore January 3, 2012.
In order to charge books, you must have been awarded aid that exceeds your tuition charges. OSU-Oklahoma City cannot determine federal aid eligibility for any student until the student has:
- enrolled,
- completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.gov), listing OSU-OKC’s federal school code: 009647, with the Federal Aid Processor (www.fafsa.gov),
- submitted all requested supporting documentation,
- submitted all academic transcripts from previously attended schools.
Each student applying for federal aid for the spring 2012 term must have submitted all requested documentation to the OSU-OKC Financial Aid & Scholarship Office by November 1, 2011. Students not meeting this deadline can still receive aid; however, until the financial aid eligibility has been determined, you need to have a plan for your book expenses.
