Led beginner session for GEAR UP Waco, a program that targets the children, U.S.
citizens, of migrant farm workers and illegal aliens to teach debating,

prepare for a debate about federal education policy at the White House before
President Bush.

and invitations, planning and hosting the event. The University of Central Oklahoma College of
Liberal Arts Development Office has begun to collect donations from
alumni. A trophy silent auction raised
$1200 for the scholarship fund.
