Non-Profit Management Certificate

In Oklahoma, there are more than 19,000 nonprofit organizations – 14 of those are listed in the top 50 major employers in the state. In fact, these organizations employ 45% more people than the oil and gas industry. While many employees choose to work for nonprofits because of an innate desire to serve others, successful and effective nonprofit employees must have strong business acumen as well.

OSU-OKC’s Non-Profit Management Certification prepares students for the dynamic and challenging world of nonprofits through key business and program courses, including:

  • Grant Writing and Administration
  • Fundraising and Development
  • Marketing
  • Management
  • Public Law

This certificate allows students and experienced professionals alike to learn about the management principles specific to a nonprofit environment while broadening and strengthening the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to the successful operation of a nonprofit organization.
