Biography

Dr. Weaver joined the OSU-OKC full-time faculty in 2012. In her time at OSU-OKC, she has served as the Lead Instructor of Sociology, Anthropology and Geography. In 2016, she became the Department Head of Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Weaver has an impressive array of thought provoking and enjoyable courses, including Crime and Delinquency, Social Problems, and Language and Culture. Her textbook Social Problems in the Twenty-First Century is forthcoming in the Fall of 2016 and takes an innovative look at this topic. She also teaches the Introduction to Sociology and Anthropology courses. In her spare time, she volunteers at Day Camps, reads science fiction, and tearfully parents her tween.
