Biography

Elizabeth Peters joined OSU-OKC's community in 2000 as a student in Police Science with emphasis in Crime Scene Investigation. Her academics led into the field of psychology where she eventually earned a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology. Her Master’s thesis involved research on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, specifically in the veteran population. Currently, she attends the University of Oklahoma as a Ph.D. student in Personality Psychology. Ms. Peters has served as an instructor at OSU-OKC since the fall of 2011. She has taught Introductory Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Child Psychology, Stress Management, Psychology of Adjustment, Human Relations, and Success in College and Life. Her interests include hanging out with her teenager, supporting local arts, gardening, and traveling.
