Biography

Teri Ferguson first joined the OSU-Oklahoma City part-time faculty in 1993, and she was promoted to Lead Instructor for English 1213 in 1996. In 1999, she was hired full-time. While at OSU-Oklahoma City, she has taught English 1113 and 1213, including special topics sections of English 1113 and 1213, an honors section of English 1213, and technical writing. In addition to composition, she developed online courses for American Literature I (2773) and II (2883) and World Literature (3173). She has also taught Masterpieces of Literature (1923) and developed an online course for this class. In addition to teaching, Dr. Ferguson serves as lead instructor for English 1213 and all literature courses. She also serves on various committees across campus.

 

Prior to joining OSU-OKC, Dr. Ferguson taught English Composition at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Community College, and Brookhaven Community College (Dallas, Texas). She has been teaching composition for over 27 years.
