The OSU-Oklahoma City Hispanic Student Association represented the campus at the Festival de las Americas on Oct. 3 as one of their community outreach events. HSA members rode in a float, and gave balloons and candy to youngsters in the crowd. They could hear “Cowboys” being yelled loud and strong throughout the parade. The festival, which represents Hispanic culture in Oklahoma City, is growing into a very strong annual event that is put on by Capitol Hill Main Street and numerous private sponsors.
