OSU-Oklahoma City’s Joni Bice was recently nominated for the Oklahoma Association of the Deaf Circle of Star Award at the recent OAD Banquet. Bice, department head of interpreter training at OSU-OKC, was nominated by co-worker Gary Davis, interpreter training instructor. After being nominated, OAD selected Bice for the prestigious award with Davis having the honor of announcing it at the banquet. “I shared her experiences at OSU-OKC for 20 years,” Davis said. “She came here as an interpreter and later became the Interpreter Training Program department head.
