OSU-OKC Names Outstanding Graduates

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) recognized an elite group of Outstanding Graduates for 2016-17 at an annual luncheon on April 25.

 

Each semester before commencement, faculty from the college’s six academic divisions nominate outstanding graduating students based on leadership, scholarship, community service and campus involvement.

 

OSU-OKC’s Outstanding Graduates for 2016-17 by division are:

 

Agriculture Technologies Division -
Spring 2017, Sara Hettle from Moore

 

Business Administration Division -
Fall 2016, Saira Sirajuddin from Oklahoma City
Spring 2017, Candace Bailey from Oklahoma City

 

Health Sciences -
Fall 2016, Mayra Castanon from Oklahoma City
Spring 2017, Chancy Chaney from Guthrie

 

Human Services Division -
Fall 2016, Hannah Fry from Edmond
Spring 2017, DeKelisha Snoddy from Edmond

 

Liberal Arts Division -
Fall 2016, Alejandro Viloria from Oklahoma City

 

Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Division -
Fall 2016, Jesus Ceballos from Oklahoma City
Spring 2017, Carisa Calhoun from Mustang

 

OSU-OKC’s commencement ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, May 15 at the State Fair Park Jim Norick Arena. Approximately 1,040 students will be conferred degrees and college-level certificates for the Summer 2016, Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 academic years. Oklahoma City Police Department Captain Paco Balderrama will be the commencement speaker.
