OSU-OKC's Bachelor Program for Emergency Responders Achieves Accreditation from IFSAC

Oklahoma State University’s (OSU-OKC) Bachelor of Technology in Emergency Responder Administration (BT-ERA) recently joined the prestigious ranks of programs accredited by the Degree Assembly of the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC).


OSU-OKC’s unique BT-ERA program delivers a comprehensive educational degree platform for public safety professionals. Students can expect to obtain the required knowledge and skill to effectively lead, manage and serve in a dynamic all-hazards environment. This environment includes critical incidents requiring multi-agency collaboration and coordination activities. The BT-ERA curriculum provides a foundation for the public safety professional to advance into a leadership position and is conveniently offered online.


This recent news places OSU-OKC's program within an elite group of 10 bachelor programs who have achieved this honor. “Through accreditation, we have proven a level of excellence in our program as well as at OSU-OKC,” said Lynn Wojcik, OSU-OKC Public Safety department head.
